Is a cure for PTSD & TBI within sight?
John G.
The nightmares, they would all be panic related. I wake up in the cold sweat sort of thing. Sometimes I wouldn’t even remember what it was that I was dreaming of.

Millions of PTSD & TBI Vicitims suffer with Nightmares, Brain Fog, Suicidal Thoughts, Deep Depression, Isomnia, Unemployment.
Bernadette G.
When I was younger, I struggled with depression and eating disorders, cutting.. I went through that from the time I was about 14 until really until I got into the military.
Erica K.
My PTSD got so bad that I thought I was developing dementia?
Dr. HHK
No brain fog anything like that?
John G.
No brain fog.
Dr. HHK
ok.. good
Dr. HHK
let’s make some dots on you forehead..

A new treatment, TransCranial Laser Therapy, is producing breakthrough results in veterans and female victims of sexual trauma with PTSD &TBI.
Dr. HHK
We got John’s eyes protected with stainless steel goggles.. and this is a very high powered neuro-infrared laser, 3 or 4 fans cooling him down at all times and a real time temperature monitor so we can check on Joh’s condition
John G.
I just got out of the Airforce. Close to 6 years, I was in logistics.
John G.
I got deployed twice downrange. I went right outside Iraq – Ali Al Saleem and I also went to Qatar.
Dr. HHK
John comes to us from South Dakota, John Suffered PTSD, as a result of his time in the Airforce and has never been really able to recover his mojo.
John G.
I’ve been dealing with nightmares, the past couple of years. Around 4-5 years. It’s days and weeks after my service ended, I’ve been with my family just spending more time with them, just trying to get re-integrated back to society.
Dr. HHK
So how are you doing Bernadette?
Bernadette G.
Really good today.
Dr. HHK
Excellent!
Bernadette G.
Yeah
Dr. HHK
And any problems? anything new?
Bernadette G.
uhmmm… no .. Actually the focus is back .. clarity is awesome. I have no brain fog this morning which is huge.
Bernadette G.
I was with the Army National Guard, for 8 years total, 6 years active duty service. I was a Cadre for the RSP and my highest rank was an E4.
As I’ve began resiliency training quite a few people confided in me of prior sexual abuse. It was astounding how many of them had encountered sexual assault while they were overseas.
Dr. HHK
Before you came down here, before you started.. did you .. im just curious did you have regular length hair?
Bernadette G.
Regular length hair… as soon as my mom told me that my sister had seen such good result, I was ready to do whatever it took to you know go through with this.
Erica K.
I am desperate to get treatment.I’ve been a treatment failure in just about every modality. I have degree in Psychology – Psychology PHD, pretty good academic pedigree, Ivy League, promising research career at one point. Love working with patients especially severe mental in-patients?..I haven’t been able to do that for about 10 years.
Erica K.
And we’re going to do uhhmm.. a full course of Cranial treatments for me.. and I’m pretty excited about it.
Erica K.
Anything would trigger me.. anything that would remind me of my childhood trauma? my childhood abuse or the abuse with my ex-husband?

Unfortunately for John, the Veterans Administration failed him.
John G.
It’s been difficult integrating back to society. I was having issues focusing, It was something that I noticed since I got out. I’m more of a fast-paced person. Eversince I got out, It’s been slower pace for me and so with that came slower conditions you know.. It’s just.. everything felt slowed down.. so, my focus was a little dulled out too.
Bernadette G.
Me and my two younger brothers, they’re twins and they actually drove out here with my dad. They have tried all different kinds of therapy – from talk therapy to drug rehabilitation therapy and nothing seem to be helping them.
John G.
Everything I’ve been getting from evrybody treating me has been mostly medications and a pat on the back.
Bernadette G.
John, he went from being this big personality with so much drive and so much potential to just being a shell of himself from the medication that you know the VA suggested for him. Just the loopholes he had to go through even to get treated and the levels, the severity of his condition.. he’d go back to the VA hospital for a month, then they put him on a different higher dose of medication and then they’d send him back home. It was just heartbreaking to see how little treatment and care was given to him after everything that he’d given to serve his country. He gets home and there’s really nothing that they can do for him.

On August 2, 2018, John started TransCranial Laser Therapy. Four weeks later, his life is dramatically imrpoved.
Dr. HHK
What we’re doing here is using the laser on the brain, what we call TransCranial Laser Therapy. We laser the front of the head, and we laser the side of the head. The laser goes in through the skull, goes into the cortex, based on some research studies that were published about 2 years ago it’s easy to compute that to get laser all the way down roughly 3 centimeters into the frontal cortex, to get the full extent of the Laser’s therapeutic benefit, you might need as much as a 100 times the dose certainly 10 times the dose that’s been used in the past. We’re about 3 times the dose and I think even higher doses would be more therapeutic.
Person 1
John, You’re doing okay?
John G.
It’s not too bad.. it’s just a little warm.. during the whole treatment, it’s just makes you more relax .. and its a nice warm feeling.
Dr. HHK
How do you feel about the treatment now that its ..its .. your treatment series is done?
John G.
I just can’t explain how much better I feel after after all the treatments. I haven’t had any nightmares for the past 24, 25 days sice the treatments have started. Day 4 day 5, I noticed that I wasn’t having anymore nightmares.
John G.
The treatments have definitely made me have a lot clearer view on my path and where I’m planning on going?
Bernadette G.
This treatment has just been incredible. The things that it has managed to help him with as far as you know sleeping and he’s off with one of his highest dose medication right now.
John G.
It has affected my life in a positive way. I’m back on track, it feels like I’m getting ready to go into college and get started with my student career. I think that is gonne help out a lot.

NATIONAL VETERANS FOUNDATION
LOS ANGELES, CA
Chad
John, nice to meet you..Bernadette..
We deal with Veterans. I had my whole career, you know 47 plus years not counting Vietnam as a mental health officer
Chad
It’ll be 33 years in November. It’s a National information and crisis hotline, for all veterans and their families. We get about 12-13 thousand calls a year that we address. These young vets coming to us really have no idea how to re-integrate and that deals with feeling with their war experiences which could mean PTSD or the signature wound in these two wars, Traumatic Brain Injury or TBI and that’s the physical Injury to the brain. PTSD is an emotional injury to the brain. The symptoms always parallel.
Chad
If this procedure that Dr. Kraft is doing proves to be the state-of-the-art then corporate America needs to get invlove. They need to fund billions of dollars.
Chad
Since we fought for the definition of PTSD in the 70’s uhh.. in the 80’s we had the definition but we didn’t know how to treat it, and I’m trained in several modalities but this is very different. It’s very you.. I’m very excited about watching you two as far as your results goes, staying in touch.. Doctor Kraft is a great character I really love him but I had no idea that this laser is gonna have this kind of effects.

Bernadette, a Veteran from Denver, Colorado is dealing with her own PTSD.
Dr. HHK
How long have you been dealing with the psychological pain before you came here.
Bernadette G.
I have been dealing with it I would say since I was about 13 , 14 years old and its something you just start to for me in my experience, I was just something .. its like you gotta live with this. suck it up
Bernadette G.
I came out for the laser treatments, in large part because my brother was having such a positive experience with it and up until that point I hadn’t really disclosed my area of trauma. I hadn’t talk to anybody up until that point.
Bernadette G.
After getting out of the military and everything, it was getting gradually more and more difficult for me to just kind of grin and bear and I saw kind of trauma if you wanna call it that manifesting in you know my inability to maintain an eye contact even or to talk in front of the camera or anything that would have been pretty uncomfortable for me.

On August 17, 2018, Bernadette Bernadette started TransCranial Laser Therapy
Bernadette G.
It’s just been like a looming fog, most of the day.
Caption
Two Weeks later, her life is dramatically improved
John G.
You like your haircut? (laughing)
Bernadette G.
It’s almost as nice as yours. (laughing)
John G.
Yeah mine is better.
Bernadette G.
It’s not quite the militray crew cut. I didn’t shave this part last time.
Bernadette G.
I don’t even think about that anxiety, it’s not just something especially the last 3 days of treatments. I just haven’t thought of it till I think of it and it’s like oh wait I got to feel that way and I feel fine.
Bernadette G.
By the 5th or 6th day, I started having more emotional dreams. They were attached to feelings that I haven’t felt since I was probably a teenager, I mean 15, 16 years old. So it was a really good experience for me because finally I was able to put those experiences to the memories that I had always carried with me. Being able to have that experience and put those things together as an adult it to me was just nothing short of a miracle.
Bernadette G.
Since I started the laser treatments, I’ve been able to focus on kind of set a goal and stick with it and finish more than I plan on doing each day. and that’s huge for me. I’m actually doing the final edits on the second book that I have written and I am absolutely in love with it. I have edited 143 pages in the last week and before that would have taken me month – 2 months.
Bernadette G.
For other veterans considering doing the laser treatments, I would just say you know, what d’you have to lose. This has been one of the most incredible gifts that I have been given in my adult life and I would definitely suggest that they give it a shot.
Erica K.
We’re just really hopeful that this is gonna be a wonderful treatment for me.
Erica K.
I couldn’t pass the monthly mental status exam anymore, I couldn’t remember what year it was, I would write my name backwards on chart notes and the patients were trigerring me too badly. I just had to just take myself out. It wasn’t healthy for them or me.
We tried every single modality – eastern, western everything, alternative medicine allopathic, non-allopathic, everything we could think of, we’ve tried. I’v been on every psychotropic med, I’ve been __ outpatient, psychodynamic therapy, CBT of course, I would get a little bit of relief but still daily anxiety.. Developed Agoraphobia so bad that I couldn’t leave the house. Last 3 years , I haven’t hardly left the house at all. I felt safe in my bedroom, and that was about it. And when I wasn’t safe in my bedroom, I’d be safe in my closet, sobbing, hyperventilating. I had at least 30 nightmares a week including night terrors, where I would wake up screaming. I would have nightmares of like children being vivisected or apocalyptic dreams and the terror from those would last for days. I didn’t care about anything, life was black and white. it’s like I wasn’t alive. I was a ZOMBIE.

On July 15, 2018, Erica started TLT. And after 15 treatments, her life is dramatically improved.
Dr. HHK
How was everything after the last treatment?
Erica K.
Fantastic! uhh so I’m two-thirds the way through treatment and I’m driving again like I could be responsible for myself like regular adult again.
Erica K.
It feels relaxing, it’s not hot, it’s warm it just feels like a brain massage.
Erica K.
So going from bedridden for the last 3 years, within the first treatment my family notice the huge difference. After the second treatment, then noticed I was interested in showering and dressing and washing my hair.. After the third treatment, it was a pure miracle. Instead of like 5 horrifying nightmares a night, I had zero and I slept 8 hours that night, with no medications. That hasn’t happened to me as long as I can remember.
Erica K.
Once we’re done with the treatments, I can’t wait to get back home, get a job, start seeing some patients. If I’m blessed enough I could maybe get another recert position
Erica K.
I would recommend this to every single person who needs to get over a trauma of any kind a painful memory that will give you nightmares, I more than recommend it, I beg it.

TransCranial Laser Therapy, TLT is producing breakthrough results for PTSD & TBI.
Bernadette G.
Seeing what its done for him even in just the last month has just been amazing .
Chad
If It’s something as little as 15 or 20 treatments no drugs no side effects, just improvement then it needs to be out there. It needs to be done and it needs to be given to our men and women that have serve our county. There’s millions of them sitting where no one can see ’em. They’re trained in being tough and they’re suffering.
Erica K.
It’s alive, it’s the future, it’s the phoennix flying up to the sky, it’s the sun on your face, with you arms spread out looking up to the sky, feeling the wind on your face, feeling alive and the joy , not being a zombie hiding under the bed anymore, hiding from any potential danger.. any memory .. you don’t have to hide from those memories anymore
I would say .. run here.. don’t make the call , don’t think about it, don’t walk.. RUN! can’t here tomorrow.. do not live one more day like that, you don’t deserve to live like this.. this will help, this will revive you and give you your life back.. RUN! run here please! don’t live like that anymore.
